RENTAL POLICIES & AGREEMENT

 

Booking & Payment

​

A signed rental agreement and a 50% non-refundable deposit are required to secure your booking.
The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to your event date.
All rentals are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend booking early to ensure availability of desired items.

Modifications & Cancellations

• Changes to your order (adding or removing items) must be made at least 30 days prior to your event.
• Requests made after this timeframe may be subject to availability and additional fees.
• Any payments made beyond the 50% deposit are refundable only if canceled more than 14 days before the event date.
• Within 14 days of your event, all payments become non-refundable.

Damage & Liability

• We charge a $50 refundable damage fee that covers minor damages.
• The client is responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items during the rental period.
• Items returned with damage beyond normal wear and tear will incur additional repair or replacement
charges.
• A valid credit card must be kept on file for any potential damage fees.
Responsibility for all rental items remains with the client from the time of delivery until items are
picked up.

The client assumes all liability for injuries or damages and agrees to hold harmless the company
from any claims arising during use.

Delivery

• Delivery fees are based on distance and rental items.
• All rentals must be returned in the same condition as delivered.

 

Setup, Access, Rental Timing

​

• Setup and styling times will be scheduled in advance based on your event time.
• Rental duration is for the agreed-upon event window only. Extended rental time may incur
additional fees.
• The client is responsible for ensuring clear access to the setup area, including parking and
entry.
• Any delays caused by lack of access may result in reduced setup time.

Location Requirements

• The client is responsible for obtaining any necessary permits for public locations, including
parks and beaches.
• A Styled Affair is not responsible for any fines or restrictions due to lack of permits.

​

Weather & Outdoor Use

• Rentals may be used indoors or outdoors; however, clients are responsible for protecting all
items from weather-related damage.
• In the event of rain or severe weather, a backup plan is required.

All chairs, tables, and rental items must be secured and protected from wind, rain, and other
harmful conditions.

​

Additional Guidelines

• No standing on chairs or tables.
• Chair weight limit: 300 lbs.
